GTA 6 Gangs: Everything We Know About Leonida’s Criminal Factions

أغسطس 25, 2026

The criminal world of Grand Theft Auto VI could be much bigger than anything we experienced in GTA V.

Rockstar has described Jason and Lucia’s story as one that eventually places them in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida, suggesting that the game’s underworld will extend far beyond a few neighborhood gangs.

Between the official trailers, screenshots, character descriptions, and details originally discovered in the 2022 development footage, we can already start piecing together several different criminal groups operating across Vice City and the wider state.

Some are effectively confirmed. Others remain possibilities that Rockstar has not officially explained.

And there is one major question:

Who really runs Leonida?

Final Chapter Motorcycle Club

One of the clearest criminal factions in GTA 6 is the biker organization operating around Ambrosia.

Rockstar describes Ambrosia as an industrial community dominated economically by the Allied Crystal sugar refinery, while a local biker gang provides “almost everything else.” That wording heavily implies that the bikers have substantial influence over the town’s underground economy.

The group has become known as the Final Chapter MC, with the name identifiable from patches visible on members in GTA VI promotional material. The patches also appear to indicate that the club was established in 1982.

This makes Final Chapter particularly interesting because they do not appear to be just random enemies riding motorcycles.

They seem embedded in Ambrosia itself.

The sugar refinery represents the legitimate side of the local economy, while the motorcycle club appears positioned as the criminal power operating alongside it. That could make Ambrosia one of GTA 6's strongest examples of territory controlled indirectly by an organized faction.

We could potentially see biker-controlled businesses, drug operations, weapons, protection rackets, clubhouses, and missions involving rival criminal groups.

Exactly how much of that will be playable remains unknown.

San4San — S4S

Possibly the most mysterious street gang currently associated with GTA VI is San4San, also written as San 4 San or S4S.

The name originally attracted attention because it appeared repeatedly in material from the leaked 2022 development footage. References appeared to connect S4S with locations and encounters involving garages, drug-related activity, stores, and other world events.

What makes San4San much more interesting today is that evidence resembling the group's branding later appeared in Rockstar's official GTA VI marketing.

An S4S-style chain can be spotted during the car-meet sequence in Trailer 1, while San4San-related markings have also been identified in imagery from Trailer 2.

That creates an important connection between the old development material and the version of Leonida Rockstar is now officially showing.

San4San appears to be associated with Vice City's Haitian community, leading to theories that the gang may serve as GTA VI's modern counterpart to the Haitian gang from the original GTA: Vice City.

However, Rockstar has not officially explained San4San's leadership, territory, storyline role, or its relationship with Jason and Lucia.

So while the group's existence has increasingly strong visual evidence behind it, many details surrounding S4S remain speculative.

Could San4San Replace the Old Vice City Haitians?

This is where GTA history becomes particularly interesting.

The original Vice City featured several recognizable criminal factions, including the Haitians and Cubans. GTA VI takes place in a different continuity, meaning Rockstar cannot simply be assumed to bring those organizations back exactly as they existed in the 2002 game.

San4San could instead represent the type of reinterpretation Rockstar has used before: taking the identity and culture associated with an older faction and rebuilding it for the modern HD universe.

If S4S is indeed connected to Vice City's Haitian community, Rockstar could create an entirely new organization while still giving longtime players something that feels familiar.

That possibility is much more believable than assuming the original Haitian gang will simply return unchanged.

Boobie Ike's Criminal Empire

Not every important criminal faction in GTA 6 needs to wear matching colors.

Rockstar has officially introduced Boobie Ike, a Vice City figure who transformed his street background into an empire involving real estate, a strip club, and a recording studio.

Rockstar's own character description makes the criminal side of that empire very clear: Boobie's businesses are connected to drug money as well as legitimate income.

This could make Boobie one of the most interesting power players in Vice City.

He may not lead a traditional street gang, but his combination of nightlife, music, property, and drugs suggests a different kind of organized criminal network.

That distinction could be important in GTA VI.

Instead of Leonida being divided exclusively between conventional gangs, Rockstar may create multiple layers of crime: street crews, motorcycle clubs, dealers, music-industry hustlers, professional robbers, smugglers, and wealthy criminal businessmen.

Dre'Quan Priest and Only Raw Records

Connected to Boobie is Dre'Quan Priest, an aspiring music mogul behind Only Raw Records.

Rockstar says Dre'Quan spent time dealing on the streets before focusing on the music business. He now works with Boobie and has signed the rap duo Real Dimez.

This raises the possibility that the Vice City music scene could overlap heavily with its criminal underworld.

There is currently no official evidence that Only Raw Records itself is a gang.

But the people surrounding it clearly have connections to street crime.

That means Only Raw could function as a narrative bridge between legitimate entertainment businesses and Vice City's criminal factions.

Real Dimez

Bae-Luxe and Roxy, better known as Real Dimez, provide another example of how Rockstar appears to be building a broader criminal ecosystem.

According to Rockstar, the pair turned their experience shaking down local dealers into money, music, and social-media fame before eventually signing with Only Raw Records.

Again, Real Dimez should not automatically be classified as a traditional gang.

But their background shows that GTA VI's criminal world may connect directly with the game's parody of modern influencer culture.

Crime, music, nightlife, social media, and celebrity could all overlap in ways we have not previously seen in GTA.

Raul Bautista and Professional Robbery Crews

Street gangs are only one part of Leonida's underworld.

Rockstar has also revealed Raul Bautista, an experienced bank robber who continually recruits people willing to take increasingly dangerous risks.

His description specifically refers to his crew, strongly suggesting that Jason and Lucia may encounter or work alongside organized robbery teams during the story.

This would represent another criminal faction type entirely.

Instead of controlling neighborhoods, Raul's organization appears focused on high-level scores.

The distinction matters because GTA VI may contain several overlapping criminal hierarchies rather than one simple gang system.

Jason's Connections to Leonida's Drug Trade

Even Jason begins the game with existing criminal connections.

Rockstar says Jason grew up around criminals and eventually found himself in the Leonida Keys working for local drug runners after leaving the Army.

That gives Rockstar another opportunity to introduce smaller trafficking organizations operating away from central Vice City.

Brian Heder and Cal Hampton are also connected to Jason's life in the Keys, creating yet another network of characters operating around Leonida's coastal criminal economy.

Whether these drug runners become a formally named organization remains unknown.

Guardia Brothers

Another name associated with the 2022 development material is the Guardia Brothers.

Unlike Final Chapter MC, Rockstar has not publicly introduced the Guardia Brothers through its official character or location descriptions.

For that reason, they should currently be treated as unconfirmed content from an earlier development build, rather than as a guaranteed faction in the final game.

GTA games change significantly during development.

Names can change, missions can disappear, and entire concepts can be removed.

Until Rockstar shows the organization in official material, the Guardia Brothers remain a possibility rather than a confirmed GTA VI gang.

The Alleged Militia Faction

References interpreted as a far-right militia were also discovered among world-event information associated with the leaked development material.

Again, this has not been formally announced by Rockstar.

If some version of the concept survives into the finished game, it would make sense within rural Leonida and would give Rockstar a faction very different from Vice City's urban street gangs.

But this is exactly the kind of information where separating leaks from official confirmation is important.

At the moment, it belongs firmly in the unconfirmed category.

Will The Lost MC Return?

Whenever GTA fans talk about motorcycle gangs, one name immediately comes up: The Lost MC.

The Lost have appeared across several GTA titles, so technically there is nothing preventing Rockstar from establishing a Leonida chapter.

But there is currently no strong official evidence confirming that The Lost will appear in GTA VI.

And with Rockstar seemingly introducing Final Chapter MC as Leonida's major biker faction, the developers may prefer to give GTA 6 its own motorcycle club rather than rely heavily on another returning group.

A Lost MC appearance would still make an excellent surprise — particularly as a rival organization — but for now it remains speculation.

What About the Classic Vice City Gangs?

The original Grand Theft Auto: Vice City featured numerous criminal factions, including:

  • The Haitians

  • The Cubans

  • The Bikers

  • The Sharks

  • Diaz's organization

  • The Vercetti Gang

  • Various smaller criminal groups

GTA VI could reference some of these organizations without literally bringing them back.

San4San is currently the most obvious example of a faction that could carry some of the cultural DNA of an older Vice City gang while existing as something new.

Rockstar has used similar reinventions throughout the GTA series.

For that reason, players should probably expect references, spiritual successors, and reinterpretations rather than exact copies of every 2002 faction.

GTA 6 May Have a Much Deeper Criminal Ecosystem

The biggest takeaway from everything Rockstar has shown is that GTA VI's criminal world may not revolve around one or two dominant gangs.

Instead, Leonida appears capable of supporting several different layers of organized crime:

Street gangs such as San4San.

Motorcycle clubs such as Final Chapter MC.

Drug-running networks connected to Jason's background.

Professional robbery crews surrounding Raul Bautista.

Nightlife and music-industry criminal networks connected to Boobie Ike, Dre'Quan, and Only Raw Records.

And potentially several additional factions that Rockstar has not yet revealed.

This fits perfectly with Rockstar's description of Jason and Lucia becoming trapped inside a criminal conspiracy that stretches across the entire state.

Rather than asking which single gang controls Vice City, GTA VI may ultimately be about navigating a complicated network of organizations competing for money, territory, influence, and survival.

So, Who Runs Leonida?

Right now there is no single answer.

Final Chapter appears powerful in Ambrosia.

San4San appears positioned somewhere inside Vice City's street-level criminal world.

Boobie Ike has money, businesses, and connections.

Professional criminals like Raul operate at another level entirely.

And Rockstar almost certainly has more factions waiting to be revealed.

That is what makes GTA VI's gangs so interesting before release: we can already see pieces of Leonida's criminal hierarchy, but we still do not know how they connect.

And once Jason and Lucia start making enemies, those connections could become one of the most important parts of the entire story.

Who do you think will really run Leonida — San4San, Final Chapter MC, or a faction Rockstar hasn't revealed yet?
